Aker Solutions says to submit bond to shareholders

OSLO, April 14 (Reuters) – Norwegian engineering group Aker Solutions ASA (AKSO.OL) will submit a plan to issue a bond of up to 2 billion crowns ($301.8 million) to a general meeting of its shareholders, the company said on Tuesday.

The announcement marked a concession to the Norwegian government in a dispute over a deal by Aker Solutions to buy around $250 million in assets from industrial group Aker ASA (AKER.OL) — a deal the government says was mishandled.
