— I don’t understand what that spiky wheel is for.
— Oh shucks! I’ll show you!
— It’s no trick to run this kind of thing. Just hit it, Ola. My word, it—
— Giddy up, Frank!
— —spreads manure so well—
— Giddy up! Giddy up!

This is the first “regular” Han Ola strip, published in Decorah Posten on April 30, 1920. A few did appear before this one, but they varied widely in size and shape and are thus unsuitable for printing here.
